Our itinerary includes Yangon's Schwedegon Pagoda, the ancient city of Bagan where the landscape is dotted with more than one thousand temples, Inle Lake, where we will photograph local fishermen, bustling local markets and lakeside life seemingly unchanged for centuries. DAY OF THE DEAD IN OAXACA, Oct 28 - Nov 5, 2010 Cost:.$3275 Experience this amazing festival in beautiful Oaxaca in southern Mexico. Many of the local people believe that on these special nights the spirits of the deceased come to visit. We'll photograph their parties for the dead in cemeteries, as well as the elaborate altars they prepare, parades, local villages, colorful markets, the ancient Zapotec ruins at Monte Alban, beautiful colonial churches, and the people and their daily life in Oaxaca. CHIAPAS, EL MUNDO MAYA, November 10 - 19, 2010 . . . . . . Cost: $2975 Chiapas is a land of amazing diversity and beauty, yet has stayed off of the mainstream tourist map. This trip encompasses great variety: From the ancient Mayan pyramids of Palenque, Yaxchilan & Bonampak, to the pine-forested highlands inhabited by traditional descendants who still carry on many of their timeless traditions. Based in the colonial gem of San Cristobal de las Casas, we will visit traditional Mayan villages such as San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan. In Bangkok, Thailand's bustling capital, we'll visit the Grand Palace, the canals and famous floating markets. In Luang Prabang, Laos, situated on the Mekong River, we'll witness hundreds of Buddhist monks taking their morning walk. Then on to Cambodia, where we'll visit Phnom Penh's Royal Palace and have a meal at the world famous Foreign Correspondent's Club. In Cambodia visit Siem Reap, the home of Angkor Wat - Khmer temples dating from the 9th century, set against the dramatic backdrop of lush jungle greenery. Limited to 9 participants. . . We'll visit many of the most photogenic locations in the country: We'll start in Saigon, then travel by boat to the Mekong Delta and visit a colorful floating market. We'll explore Danang and then Hoi An. We'll then visit Hanoi before breathtaking Halong Bay with its limestone cliffs and caves. PHILIPPINES Photo Tour June 11 - 23, 2011 .Cost: $3975 (includes in-country flights) Though often overlooked by travelers, the Philippines is the second largest archipelago in the world, with over 7,000 islands. We'll explore Banaue with its amazing Rice Terraces, and fascinating reminders of the islands' rich history in places such as Vigan. We'll aslso visit pristine palm-finged beaches and photograph the Philipinos - photo friendly and full of smiles.
