These are my fixers in Santiago Atitlan. I have known Leticia (2nd from right) for about 10 years. She has been selling souvenirs to tourists for many years and knows everyone in town and is very respected, and can open doors anywhere. She was a kid when I first knew her, but was about 18 years old when this was taken and married with a young son. The people in Santiago are famously shy about photographs, but they are like teenage girls anywhere - they love having their pictures taken if they trust you.
